the final sonic chapter of Flows Festival 2026 was an ambient integration session — basically an ambient DJ set. a gentle, smooth, calm landing after all the wild full days before it,.. and a way of closing and settling everything the week had brought up.
it’s a set that’s especially close to me because one of my intentions right now is finding more space for ambient music production and ambient DJ sets in my life, live performances would be.. it. maybe I love it even more because three of my own tracks found their way into the set — tracks that are still sitting on a hard drive, waiting to see the light of day in one form or another… alongside those you’ll hear my favorite stuff from Alva Noto, Alex Kassian, Barker, Kalani, Space Ghost, Travis Scott & James Blake…
after spending what is definitely not a small number of nights behind the decks, I’ve come to the conclusion that these days it almost feels more impossible to get 50 people to casually sit together and listen to beatless music than it is to fill a club or festival to the very last square
